E is for Enduring

en·dur·ing

–adjective
1.
lasting; permanent: a poet of enduring greatness.

I meant for this next letter to stand for enduring, because that is a fitting way to describe my love for my husband -- lasting, and permanent.  There are other words as well -- expanding, evolving, ever after....  But for today, enduring is a good one, and it fits.
I've fallen way behind on my stitching; hoping to catch up a bit in the next few days, but we'll see.  I've been caught up in the whirlwind of the last days of school.  I can't believe that my babies will be in 5th grade and 1st grade next year!   Where does the time go???

I've also been tres busy trying to get ready for our upcoming vacation.  I'll tell you more about that later, but for now this little hint: it involves my favorite mouse.

Hope your stitching is coming along well!  Hooray for summer!

  2. I agree...your color choices are just perfect...the pastels so dainty and dear. What kind of yarn are you using? It appears different from the old fashioned DMC that I have. It is so yummy. Hugs Genie

  3. Elegant is also an "e" word that applies. I love how your design isn't all in the boxes.

  5. Alison,
Love your designs.. and the May Pole is darling! It's funny how my procrastination has actually given me some new ideas. Although I have 6 blocks done, I haven't photographed any yet... too much life going on right now! But my "theme" is going to have a quote in the center..."All this and Heaven too!" I will let you know when I post some pics.. thanks for sharing yours.. so inspiring! Your work in beautiful :)
